Today in class we had went over what a "letter to Garcia" really means. This was titled the Excellence and with that we had went over every detail. Essay was published as inspirational essay  and had sold 40 million copies. This was also translated into 37 languages and made into a movie twice. The essay went all around the world used in many different scenarios it had became a popular slang expression which is still used in the military. During the Spanish American war was when this had been written. I learned that a perihelion is the point when a planet like mars is closest to the sun and therefore it will be at it's brightest time. In the essay they describe one of the important people as someone who stands out like an perihelion. Everyone is basically slipshod and doesn't care about doing any type of work. Which this essay describes everything about how lazy we are and how we have to work hard and not be so imbecility. Working hard is what you need to be a successful and well being of a person.
